Experimental analysis on the effect of ring and rotor spun yarns for comfort characteristics of weft knitted fabric structures

This research study experimentally analyzed the effect of ring and rotor yarns which are 100% cotton spun yarn with 30s Ne count on physical comfort characteristics single jersey, rib, interlock knitted fabrics. The such as fabric Thickness, Tightness factor, Bursting strength, Abrasion resistance, Pilling behavior were studied according to ASTM Standard statistically using Minitab software ANOVA analysis. Comfort Thermal Insulation (TIV), Water Vapor Permeability, Air permeability; they reported. results revealed that fabrics demonstrated higher insulation in structures when compared Ring has better resistance than yarn, but air permeability made from yarn. low stress mechanical properties shear compression also critically analyzed. show a few cases differences between regular quite significant, while marginal other cases. However, surface roughness values showed some interesting features structures.
